제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfonated Copolymer Based on Poly(ketone)s (SPKs) for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Application.
초록 Nafion® membranes have been extensively used as polymer electrolyte membranes for fuel cells in practical systems because of their excellent chemical, mechanical stability and high proton conductivity. However, the stability and proton conductivity of perfluorinated membranes decreases at elevated temperature and low humidity condition due to evaporation of water molecules from the electrolyte membrane. In this study sulfonated poly(ketone)s are successfully prepared from dichlorobenzophenone through coupling reaction at mild conduction. The proton exchange membranes were characterized with TGA, IEC, proton conductivity, water uptake and AFM. These membranes are promising candidates for proton exchange membranes in fuel cells.
