||All around world, hallogen flame retardants are prohibited because halogen flame retardants contain furan, dioxine and they are lethal in alive bodies. PPE(polyphenylene ether) is well known and confirmed by its engineering applications widely. PPE has flame retardanrcy, thermal resistance, dimensional stability, mechanical properties etc. PPE is an engineering plastic but has the disadvantage of low processing conditions(processing temperature, injection molding etc.) because of its rigid structure. So PPE should be processed and used by other polymers but in that case of previous condition, its flame retardancy property gets worse significantly. In this study, we have prepared the blend of PPE/Nylon alloys with appropriate compatibilizers by twin screw extruder and injection molding machine. Finally we have used and analyzed the result by tensile strength, IZOD impact strength equipment, SEM, thermal & flame retardancy property etc.
