제목 Comparison of Methanol and Ethanol in Ultrasound Irradiated trans-Esterification
초록 in this study, the conversion characteristics of biodiesel was estimated by ultrasound irradiated trans-esterification using methanol and ethanol. Ultrasound has a short wavelength, slow transfer rate, and high energy transmittance as the vibrating type energy. Therefore, the ultrasound irradiated reaction has an advantage of easy temperature control in a short time and the mixing effect. trans-Esterification was performed in some variables which are ultrasound irradiated time (20~50min), ultrasonic power (300~600W), reaction temperature (45~75℃), alcohol/oil mole ratio (3~9), and the amount of alkaline catalyst (0.0~1.5wt%).
