제목 Synthesis and characterization of well defined thermo and pH responsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-b-poly(L-histidine)
초록 Synthesis of a series of novel distimuli responsive poly(Nisopropylacrylamide)-b-poly(Lhistidine) [p(NiPAM)bp(His)] and their thermo responsive properties in aqueous solutions at different pH values are described. p(NiPAM)bp(His) hybrid materials were synthesized by combining reversible additionfragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of Nisopropylacrylamide (NiPAM) and ringopening polymerization (ROP) of αamino acid Ncarboxyanhydrides (NCAs). A new class of RAFT agent was designed for this purpose. Tosylprotected chain transfer agent (CTA2) was applied in the RAFT polymerization of NiPAM, resulting in Tosylprotected pNiPAM and the aminoend capped pNiPAM after hydrolysis, were used as the macroinitiator for the ROP of benzylNcarboxyLhistidine anhydride (HisNCA) results copolymers with dual pH/temperaturedependent phase transition properties.
