제목 A Functionalized Coadsorbent as an Alternative Deoxycholic Acid for Highly Efficient Dye-sensitized Solar Cells
초록 We have synthesized a 4-(3,6-bis(4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-9H-carbazol-9-yl)benzoic acid (bEHCBA) as an alternative coadsorbent to DCA or CA derivatives. The introduction of the bulky ethylhexyloxy group into carbazole-based (bEHCBA) a also achieved in order to enhance its solubility in organic solvents. The bEHCBA molecule can act as spacer between dye molecules, and reduce dye aggregation and suppress the π-π interaction between neighboring dye molecules, which prevent intermolecular electron losses by charge recombination between the dye molecules. The photovoltaic performance of the NKX2677/bEHCBA-sensitized device exhibited remarkably high, Jsc of 15.02 mA/cm2, Voc of 723 mV, FF of 72.36%, and a conversion efficiency of 7.86% at 100 mW cm-2, which is the best result ever reported for DSSC employing an organic dye NKX2677. Compared with NKX2677 sensitized device, the conversion efficiency of NKX2677/bEHCBA -sensitized device was increased by 77%.
