제목 Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube Filled Polystyrene Composite Film with a Low Percolation Threshold
초록 Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) have attracted considerable attention because of their outstanding mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties. Additionally, their low mass density and large aspect ratio make them attractive reinforcement materials. Recently, a considerable effort has been directed towards limiting the amount of CNTs that is need as a reinforced polymer because of their expensive price. However, CNTs are poorly dispersed in the polymer matrix because of their strong interaction. In this study, a polystyrene (PS) film which incorporated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) with a networking structure was fabricated using PS microspheres as templates. At a low MWCNT concentration, the PS/MWCNT films exhibited electrical and thermal percolation thresholds. The morphology, electrical conductivity, and thermal property of the composite film were investigated by using scanning electron microscopy, electrical conductivity meter and differential scanning calorimeter.
