제목 Preparation of charged particles for electronic-paper displayby emulsification technique
초록 Electronic-paper has been attracted due to many advantages such as lightweight, large view angle, flexibility and low power consumption. Charged polymeric particles are widely used for displaying the electronic-paper. These charged particles are usually composed of polymer, pigment and charge control agent. In this study, particles were imposed with some degree of charge by charged series and were combined with inorganic materials to improve the reliability of the particle. The micro structure of the particle was characterized by means of optical microscope and SEM. And, the charge of particle was characterized by q/m meter and zeta-potential measuerment. Electro-optical properties of charged particles in the electronic-paper were investigated by optical measurement system.
