제목 Thermosensitive Cationic Poly(organophosphazene) Hydrogels for Protein Delivery
초록 Protein therapeutics has been increased dramatically in number and frequency of use, but it should be frequently administered parenterally due to instability in the gastro-intestinal tract and short half-life. Injectable in situ forming hydrogels have been focused on an attractive alternative to microspheres and implants as a parenteral depot systems due to its a number of advantages such as easy administration and simple formulation. However, the release of protein from hydrogel is generally diffusion-controlled and the sustained release over a long time period may not be expected. To circumvent the above problem, we prepared cationic thermosensitive poly(organophosphazene) hydrogels for sustained delivery of anionic protein by electrostatic interactions. The polymers were characterized by NMR, IR and viscosity measurements. The ability of complex formation with anionic proteins was examined by electrophoresis. In vitro and in vivo release studies of proteins were also carried out.
