제목 Adsorption and Desorption Characteristics of VOCs on Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes
초록 Adsorption equilibrium and kinetic characteristics of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were investigated. The SWCNTs were characterized by nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, FE-SEM, IR, TGA and Raman analysis. The equilibrium data of benzene, n-hexane and acetone were measured at three different temperatures (303.15K, 313.15K and 323.15K). The results of nitrogen adsorption isotherm revealed type II with the features of type I. The Toth model was found to provide a reasonable correlation between the adsorption isotherm data. On the other hand, the adsorption kinetic experiments were carried out to obtain the kinetic information in SWCNTs at 303.15K and thermal desorption of VOCs on SWCNTs were also conducted at a heating rate of 2, 5 and 10 K/min.
