제목 Gas pressure effect on the phase transitions of a weakly interacting block copolymer investigated by FTIR spectroscopy
초록 Nitrogen pressure effect on the phase transitions of deuterated polystyrene-block-poly(n-pentyl methacrylate) copolymer (dPS-b-PnPMA) was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) with two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy (2DCOS). For this purpose, a special pressure cell was designed. From the absorbance change of FTIR spectra, two transitions (the lower disordered-to-ordered transition (LDOT) and the upper ordered-to-disordered transition (UODT)) consisting of the closed-loop for dPS-b-PnPMA were obtained at various gas pressures. It was found that the size of closed-loop became larger with increasing nitrogen gas pressures. Also, the functional groups belonging to the PnPMA block are much more sensitive to nitrogen pressure compared with those belonging to the PS block.
