제목 Biomineralized hydrogel scaffolds as injectable bone substitute
초록 The development of hydrogels offers new opportunities not only for tissue engineering but also for setting up culture systems in vitro that recapitulate the 3D organization and the differentiated function of these tissues. The intrinsic elasticity and water retention ability of synthetic hydrogels resemble those of natural hydrogels such as collagen matrices that are prevalent as structural scaffolds in various connective tissues including bone. Particularly, thermosensitive hydrogels are of great interest in drug delivery, cell encapsulation, and tissue engineering. This study aims to develop a biomineralized injectable hydrogel system based on poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel, that can serve as a scaffolds promoting bone repair and regeneration. We prepared biomineralized P(NIPAAm-VPAc) hydrogels and investigated their physicochemical characteristics and cell growth in this hydrogel system.
