제목 Highly green luminescence of POSS hybrid phophors for anti-counterfeiting application
초록   The combination of functional polymers with inorganic nanostructured compounds has become a major area of research and technological development owing to the remarkable properties and multifunctionalities deriving from their nano and hybrid structures. Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes, with Si vertices interconnected by –O– linkages, form three-dimensional nanometer size cage structures with substituents attached to silicon atoms. These substituents may contain reactive groups, such as hydroxyl or isocyanate. In this study, we have described a novel organic-inorganic hybrid polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) type monomer ligand 2,6-pyridinediamine-bis-propanylheptaisobutyl POSS (PDC-POSS) and synthesized in the preparation of luminescent hybrid complex turbium doped PDC-POSS phosphors. The photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of Tb3+-doped PDC-POSS was detected at 488, 544, 584, 619, 647 nm by excitation of UV light (λ = 285 nm). Transparent thin films were deposited from aqueous colloidal solution of hybrid phosphors on bank note, plastic card substrates, and cotton fiber to demonstrate high transparency of phosphor thin films feasible to anti-counterfeiting application which requires concealment and identification by naked eyes.
