제목 Annealing effect of TiO2 with urea; Ti3+, N and C-codoped TiO2-x for highly durable PEMFC cathode
초록 Carbon-based supports with high surface area and conductivity were widely applied as catalyst supports used in PEMFC. But disadvantages of carbon limited utilization. Due to degradation under long-term operation, the use of non-carbon supports was suggested. Titanium dioxide has strong durability under the oxidation conditions of PEMFC, but the characteristics of metal oxides, it suffers from the low electrochemical properties. In this study, titanium dioxide and urea were annealed in a hydrogen atmosphere to produce N,C-codoped TiO2-x with high electrochemical properties, acid resistance. Properties were analyzed through XRD, FE-TEM and XPS. In the electrochemical analysis, the ORR was measured by the LSV, and the ECSA analysis was measured by the CV. Pt/N,C-codoped TiO2-x showed high durability in ORR compared to commercial Pt/C as a result of ADT in the corrosion voltage range (1.0 V to 1.5 V). Furthermore, enhancement of performance and durability of the single-cell performance.
