제목 Photo-polymerized self-healing polymers depending on the amount of diurethane acrylate monomers
초록 Self-healing polymers are smart materials which have an ability to repair themselves after being damaged. Recently, self-healing polymers have been fabricated by photo-polymerization, where 'healer' enables physical cross-link with hydrogen bonding sites in main chain. They can repair damage themselves by 'healer' which has high mobility and makes physical cross-link with diurethane in main chain instead of water in thermal-polymerized self-healing polymers. In this study, we observed tendency of the self-healing properties with different amount of two diurethane acrylate monomers and idealized their self-healing efficiency and mechanical properties. To test the properties of the self-healing polymers, tensile strengths before and after cut and paste were measured. This shows the quantitative relationship between the density of diurethane originated from acrylate monomers with 'healer'. This is expected to be used for surface protection against scratch.
