||Membranes for the water treatment require several key properties including high water flux, good rejection efficiency and antifouling effect. In this paper, we have fabricated functional coatings for supporting membrane, which were prepared with amphiphilic copolymer and/or graft copolymer and homopolymer blends. The blends are ultra-thin films and they were fabricated by layer-by-layer process. As the results, the deposited films exhibits controllable wettability, various surface morphology and bio-adhesiveness. We also studied annealing effct to the films with two different solvents which can selectively react with one part of the amphiphilic copolymer, therefore, the surface morphology has changed by the process. Finally, we tested filtration ability of these samples with sevral aqueous solutions and found the potentials of them in membrane applications.
