|| We have synthesized blue emitting compounds, DBI-SFX and SBF-SFX, by incorporating fluorene-9,9'-xanthene as main chromophore and introducing 1,2-diphenyl-1H-benzoimidazole and spirobi[fluorene] group. 1,2-Diphenyl-1H-benzoimidazole, 9,9'-spirobi[fluorene], and fluorene-9,9'-xanthene moieties were used to synthesize new blue emitters. The optical properties of synthesized materials were measured. Both materials emit real blue photoluminescence in the film state and state and SBF-SFX showed relatively high PLQY value. The synthesized materials were applied as EML in non-doped devices, and SBF-SFX had a current efficiency of 1.19 cd/A, a power efficiency of 0.39 lm/W and an external quantum efficiency of 1.10 % which is more than two times as high as that of DBI-SFX.
