제목 Improvement of surface characteristics of optical sheet by organic-inorganic hybrid structure
초록 The transparent plastic sheet needs hard coating on surface due to lower surface hardness than glass. As such a hard coating agent, Various organic-inorganic hybrid coating agents are prepared by a sol-gel method in order to be used as hard coating agent. In this study, UV-curable organic-inorganic hybrid hard coatings were synthesized by sol-gel method to improve the surface properties of transparent plastic sheet. Various urethane acrylates were used as base resin for coating material in order to give flexibility. The effect of structural variation of coating material on the coating properties of organic and inorganic hybrids was investigated on the basis of FT-IR, surface hardness characteristics, optical transmittance, and thermal decomposition behavior.
