제목 Construction of Ga nano-arrays by dip pen nanolithography.
초록 Dip-pen nanolithography (DPN) is a scanning probe lithography method based on atomic force microscopy (AFM). DPN is a simple technique for patterning nano- and micro- materials at desired locations. In general, liquid metals are metallic substances that retain their liquid state at room temperature due to low melting point. One of the liquid metals, gallium has a melting point of 29.7 °C, which has a high conductivity and the property to rapidly dissolve many metals. In our study, liquid gallium could be coated on the tip of the AFM probe and used as a catalyst for CNTs growth in CVD. Moreover, we have generated nanosized gallium for arrays on a substrate via DPN technology. All analyses were performed using atomic force microscopy and scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS).
