|제목||UV-Curable Polyurethane Dispersions Based on Glycidyl-terminated Prepolymers|
|초록||Advantages of UV curing in coating industry include fast curing, absence of volatile organic componets(VOCs), much reduced energy consumption, greater productivity and room temperature cure. Ultraviolet curable polyurethane dispersions(UV-PUD) are relatively new, pollution-free process.
An UV curable system has been prepared from reactive urethane oligomer, reactive diluents, and photoinitiators. Isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer was reacted with 2-hydroxyethylacrylate(HEA) and/or glycidol and dispersed into water using triethylamine(TEA) as a neutralizing agent for the carboxylate function viz, dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA). It was found that glycidyl-terminated polyurethane gave significant increase in the mechanical and dynamic properties of UV-PUD.
