제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Colorless and Transparent Thermal Resistant Aromatic Polyimides as a Plastic Substrate for the Flexible Displays
초록 A novel asymmetric aromatic diamine, 4-[[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]sulfonyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)]benzenamine (AFPSFB), was synthesized through nucleophilic substitution. Conventional two-step polycondensation of AFPSFB with commercially available tetracarboxylic dianhydrides enabled the preparation of fully or semi-aromatic polyimides (PIs). The properties of AFPSFB-based PIs were systematically characterized and compared with their counterparts based on 4-[[4-(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)phenyl]thio-3-(trifluoromethyl)]benzenamine (AFPTFB).
