제목 Effect of Hydrophobicity from Functionalized Silica Particles with Different Size
초록 In this study, the 40 and 80 nm of silica particles were synthesized with alkyl silane or fluorinated silane to introduce hydrophobicity by sol-gel process. It was found that there is a relationship between the particle size and the hydrophobicity. It was observed that surface contact angle of having low surface energy fluorine-modified silica particles exhibits higher. Fluorine-modified silica particles with two different length scales were introduced onto the PET substrates to observe hydrophobicity.
