제목 High barrier propertis of Poly(vinylalcohol)-based nanocomposites films using boric acid
초록 The food industry is a large consumer of packaging materials with a variety of requirements to assure the safety and quality of packaged food. The purpose of packaging is to protect the product from the environment, such as the effects of gases, water(vapor), odors, micro-organisms, dust and etc. Among these effects, the water(vapor) and the oxygen gas is the most important factor. Recently, the montmorillonite(MMT) based barrier films can be used for barrier film research. The MMT was widely used because it was improved the barrier property. However, even if MMT was used for the barrier film, it was not easy to overcome the limit of the wet film coating. In this work, we have tried to improve of water and oxygen barrier properties by using boric acid.
