제목 Polysulfide Retaining Behaviors of Graphitic Carbon Nitride/Carbon Composite
초록 Herein, we present a synthesis of functional electrode material (MCA-GL-600) to mitigate polysulfide shuttling in lithium sulfur batteries. MCA-GL-600 was prepared by self-templating approach which utilizes 2D organic crystal of triazine molecules as molecular template and carbon/nitrogen source. Homogeneous coating of glucose on MCA (MCA-GL) followed by carbonization at 600degree C leads to formation of double layered 2D carbon materials of carbon nitride and amorphous carbon. The resulting MCA-GL-600 features hierarchical porous structure and nitrogen-rich functionality, which is capable of suppressing polysulfide shuttling. Sulfur/MCA-GL-600 composite electrode achieved a high specific capacity of 1,565mAh/g sulfur at the first cycle and 1,235mAh/g sulfur at 500mA/g sulfur after 100cycle. Sulfur/MCA-GL-600 exhibited a capacity loss of 0.21% per cycle compared to the initial capacity.
