제목 Universal Coating of Robust Cell-Derived Extracellular Matrices for Implantable Materials
초록 Despite of much efforts, the technological efforts still encounter crucial challenges minimizing adverse side effects and implantation failures. In this study, versatile coating of cell-derived extracellular matrices was investigated and applied to a medical device for the purpose of implantation application. First, direct coating of robust extracellular matrices (ECMs) on substrates via two-step surface treatments and decellularization was developed and characterized in terms of chemical, mechanical and biological properties. Results reveal that the coated matrix tightly bound to a substrate has overachieving stability and biologically active effects. Second, the newly developed method was applied to coronary stent device to assess clinical feasibility of our ECM coating. In-vivo results demonstrate that coating is comparatively stable over all procedures of preparation and in vivo application and has promising outcomes in vascular healing and anti-thrombosis.
