제목 Syngas production via dry reforming of propane over Ni supported on ɤ/Al2O3 modified with CeO2 catalysts
초록 Dry (CO2) reforming of propane (DRP) towards synthesis gas (syngas) production for industrial and scientific applications over Ni based catalysts is an environment friendly process. The Ni-CeO2-ɤ/Al2O3 catalyst with 10 wt.% of cerium and nickel metals were loaded using wet impregnation technique in DRP. Thermal and plasma assisted calcination and reduction process were carried out to prepare catalysts with maximum catalytic reactivity and the catalytic activities were evaluated at 500-600°C. Calcined and reduced (H2 and plasma assisted) catalysts' properties of before and after dry reforming reactions were analyzed using x-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherms (BET), temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR) techniques, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and Raman spectroscopy.
