제목 Aluminum-based barrier film with various temperature treatments for food packaging
초록 Food packaging plays a crucial role in preserving food throughout the distribution chain. Without packaging step, the processing of food can become compromised as it is contaminated by direct contact with physical, chemical, and biological contaminants. Food corruption is caused by contact between oxygen and water. Therefore, the basic properties required for food packaging are low oxygen and moisture permeability. In this paper, we study so that improve barrier film properties by various temperature treatment. The barrier film is composed of a dispersion of aluminum-sol based on a widely used PVA polymer matrix.
The properties of films characterized by the means of UV-Vis and Hazemeter. Moisture and oxygen barrier property was measured according to the ASTM D 3985.
