제목 Block copolymer functionalized with cholesterol oxidase and Horseradish peroxidase for the detection of cholesterol at LC/aqueous interface
초록 A TEM grid cell coated with 4-cyano-4-pentylbiphenyl (5CB) was functionalized with a block copolymer poly(acrylicacid-b-4-cyno-4-undecyl acrylate) (PAA-b-LCP) followed by the co immobilization of two enzymes cholesterol oxidase and horse radish peroxidase was used to detect cholesterol. High stability and sensitivity of the immobilized enzymes were achieved for cholesterol. Cholesterol was detected by a parallel to perpendicular (bright-dark) orientational change of 5CB under crossed polarizers with a detection limit of 0.8mM. High stability of the immobilized enzymes and specific detection of cholesterol in a complex mixture could provide a convenient method for screening cholesterol levels in sample.
