제목 Preparation of extracellular matrix developed by the use of cross-linked porcine articular cartilage for anti-adhesive film
초록 Articular cartilage has appeared as an emerging extracellular matrix candidate for a variety of biomedical applications. Porcine Articular Cartilage (PAC) powder was easily prepared by decellularization. However, PAC film for anti-adhesive barrier was easily solubilization and difficult to control mechanical properties. To overcome these limitations, we prepared by using cross-linked porcine articular cartilage (Cx-PAC) film. Next, Cx-PAC films was thermal-treated for control the mechanical properties. We investigated the anti-adhesive properties after human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were cultured on these films. Using electron microscopy, fluorescence, and MTT assays revealed that HUVECs were adhered the surface of the plate and proliferated. On the contrary, Cx-PAC and thermal-treated Cx-PAC showed little or no cell attachment and proliferation. Thus, we conclude that the Cx-PAC film can be useful anti-adhesive barrier with adjustable mechanical properties.
