제목 A Tumor Microenvironment-Responsive Nanoassembly Based on Charge-Switchable Polymers
초록 In order to develop a nanocarrier which can surmount hurdles for chemotherapy such as targetability, we designed a tumor microenvironment-responsive nanoassembly which can undergo structural changes sequentially at the extracellular and intracellular levels of tumor tissue. The nanoassembly has been prepared based on a poly(ethyleneimine) derivative bearing a pH-responsive charge-switchable moiety and bioreducible disulfide crosslinks. The surface charge of the nanoassembly can be switched from negative to positive at the mildly acidic extracellular matrix of tumor, resulting in the enhanced cellular uptake. Furthermore, the nanoassembly can selectively release the encapsulated drug at the intracellular reductive environment due to the cleavage of disulfide crosslinks. Overall, the tumor microenvironment-responsive nanoassembly showed a great potential as a tumor-targeting drug carrier.
