제목 Photoactive WS2 Nanosheets for Oxidative Coupling of Primary Amines to Imines
초록 Transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD), which is a new class of 2D material, has emerged as a promising candidate for diverse applications from energy science to biotechnology. We prepared photoactive WS2 nanosheets via a simple solvent exfoliation method, and successfully applied them as a photocatalyst to the photocatalyzed oxidative coupling reactions of amines. Exfoliated WS2 nanosheets were of variable sizes ranging from 50 to 120 nm with a 1 nm of height. Various primary amines were successfully converted to the corresponding imines in high yield in the presence of WS2 nanosheets under visible light; however this oxidative coupling reaction did not proceed under dark. In addition, WS2 nanosheets were recycled several times in the reactions with high selectivity.
