제목 Study of Fluorinated Silica Nano-composites of Hydrophobic Surface
초록 In the past decade, hydrophobic or water-repellent solid surfaces have become an attractive topic in material sciences because of their scientific significance and various applications including self-cleaning, anti-ice, anti-fog, the creation of self-cleaning clothings, metal refining, adhesion prevention, and drag reduction in fluid flow.
In this paper, we study the preparation of nano-paticale structured Silica and HDFDMA as raw materialslow-surface-energy. 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propylmethacrylate (MPS) is indeed a good coupling agent to modify inorganic particles. First of all, MPS-Silica nanoparticles are obtained via sol-gel method. Secondly, Silica/HDFDMA dispersions were fabricated via Thiol-lactam initiated radical polymerization (TIRP). Finally, Silica/HDFDMA core/shell composites with hydrophobic properties were prepared. By spin coating the dispersion with Fluorinated Silica Nano-composites and general binder onto the substrate, a hydrophobic surface is obtained.
