제목 Self-Assembled Monolayer Formation of Graphene Oxide Sheets and Functionalized Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes(f-SWNT) at the Liquid-Gas Interface
초록 Although graphene and carbon nanotube(CNT) have been obtained considerable attention for utilizing in various applications such as flexible transparent electrodes and display devices one of key issues for utilizing them in practical applications is to develop procedures to obtain isolated graphene and CNT in aqueous and organic solvents. In this work, we synthesized exfoliated graphene oxide(GO) sheets in aqueous solution by modified Hummers and Offeman's method. while for nanotubes, We functionalized their surface with polymerized cetyl-trimethylammonium 4-vinylbenzoate(CTVB). we spread f-SWNTs from methanol on the surface of GO suspension to form spontaneous hybrids of GO-f-SWNT monolayers. Grazing incidence small angle X-ray scattering(GISAXS) combined with atomic force microscopy(AFM) measurements revealed the f-SWNT orientation on GO nano-sheets. We will measure electrical properties of GO-f-SWNT hybrid monolayer after reduction treatment of hydrazine and thermal annealing.
