제목 Highly Efficient Inverted Polymer Optoelectronic Devices Using Surface Modifications of ZnO Layer
초록 Polymer optoelectronic devices such as solar cells (PSCs) and light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) have been recently focused for renewable energy gource, flexible display and solid-state lighting applications and so much effort has been devoted to achieve highly efficient polymer optoelectronic devices. Here, we improve the efficiencies of inverted PSCs (iPSCs) and PLEDs (iPLEDs) by introducing a spontaneously formed ripple-shaped nanostructure of ZnO and applying an amine-based polar solvent treatment to the nanostructure of ZnO. The iPSCs show the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 8.69 % and iPLEDs show the external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 17.8% and luminous efficiency (LE) of 61.6 cd/A. This method provides a promising method, and opens new possibilities for not only the organic photovoltaics but also other organic optoelectronic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic thin film transistors, and organic laser diodes.
