제목 Separation of isopropyl alcohol-water mixtrues by thermal swing adsorption method
초록 For the purpose of IPA recovery from the waste IPA-water azeotrope mixture from HTGR (High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor) nuclear fuel preparation process. Lab-scale simple recovery process using zeolite 4A adsorbent was investigated. Since the waste mixtures contain a small amount of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol (THFA) and ammonium nitrate, we investigated the effects of those contaminants on the adsorption performance. In consideration of the practical using of zeolites by thermal swing adsorption method, we also carried out iterative thermal regeneration of adsorbent and IPA recovery experiments by selective adsorption.
