제목 Synthesis and Photoluminescence of Fluorine Containing Apatite Phosphor Materials
초록 Rare-earth functional materials have been interestingly studied due to their unique physical and chemical properties and potential applications in the fields of light emitting devices, optical transmission, biochemical probes, medical diagnostics, and so forth. Currently, fluorine containing apatite materials doped with rare-earth ions have great potential as phosphor with their adjustable luminescence properties owing to the introduction of fluoride ions in the host structure. It is accepted that the low phonon energy in fluoride anions and the efficient emission due to the minor thermal quenching process from multi-phonon relaxation can be realized in this crystal structure. In this presentation, a fluorine containing apatite material, Ca10(SiO4)3(SO4)3F2:Eu2+, CSSF:Eu2+ was synthesized by a solid-state reaction method and the crystal structure of the synthesized CSSF:Eu2+ was refined. Optical properties of the prepared phosphor were found to depend on the Eu2+-oxygen distances. The excitation spectra of the CSSF:Eu2+ covered the range from 250 to 450 nm. Under near UV excitation, the emission spectra of the CSSF:Eu2+ showed blue and green emission, respectively. The concentration quenching and energy transfer mechanism have been investigated in detail via the configuration coordinate diagram.
