Preparation of Biodegradable PCL Scaffold Containing Cuttlebone
In this study, polycaprolactone(PCL)and cuttle bone(CB) composites, just like PCL scaffolds, were fabricated using salt leaching technique. These compositers proved to be biocompatible and when loaded only with osteoblasts, sustained osteogenic expression. The new generation of composites should not only provide the mechanical architecture to support cell attachment but must enhance cell growth as well.
