On Optimal Operating Policy for High-Temperature Shift Converters
An optimal operating policy for a high temperature shift converter has been suggested based on a one-dimensional pseudo-homogeneous model which was found to be able to simulate the composition and temperature profiles of three different plants reasonably well. A rigorous process of procuring and screening data from industry spanning a period of three years was adopted. Parameters in the model were obtained by parametric estimation using the screened plant data.
