The morphology of the deposit produced by electrorefining of uranium metal was analyzed to find out a correlation with the current density. The uranium deposits were comprised of chain-like uranium crystal with a rhomboidal shape at over 300 mA/cm2 current density, while the whisker-like dendrites were observed at lower current density than 100 mA/cm2.
