Ru/A.C. 촉매상에서 TFE의 이량화 반응에 관한 연구
A Study on the Catalytic Dimerization of TFE over Ru/A.C. catalyst
Catalytic dimerization of tetrafluoroethylene (CF2=CF2, TFE) over supported metal catalysts was carried out to control the selectivity of octafluorocyclobutane (C4F8, RC318) and hexafluoropropylene(CF3CF=CF2, HFP). The catalyst was prepared by an impregnation method, and characterized by N2 physisorption, XRD, TEM and TPR. It waw found that the catalytic dimerization of TFE is more desirable process than the conventional non-catalytic dimerization under the reaction conditions of 480 ~ 680 ℃ and atmospheric pressure. The results suggest that 3 wt% Ru/A.C. catalyst is a promising candidate as a catalyst for producing RC318 by the catalytic dimerization of TFE.
