Inkjet printing satellite-free silver electrodes array in a-IGZO TFTs by regulating piezoelectric waveforms
Inkjet printing silver electrodes for a-IGZO TFT array have recently become a hot spot benefitting from not requiring a conventional vacuum process. However, satellite droplets are unwanted in large area inkjet printing, because these satellites will decrease the performance of TFT array. Our work is aimed to eliminate satellite droplets by regulating the printing piezoelectric waveforms. With optimizing the inkjet printing condition, satellite-free silver electrodes array in a-IGZO TFT were obtained, which exhibited a mobility of 1.49 cm(2)V(-1)s(-1) and an on/off current ratio of over 10(5). Our work provides a potential platform for future printed electronic application.
