Study on the Behavior of Divalent Metal Ion in the Crystallization of Hierarchical ZSM-11
Various metal-contained ZSM-11 zeolites have been successfully prepared by a direct synthesis method. It was found that various divalent metal ions present different ability to be incorporated into zeolitic frameworks. Zn2+ can be completely involved into the zeolite framework but blocks the channels because of its good solubility in basic media but different geometric position from Al3+, Fe2+, Co2+, Ni2+ and Cu2+, which can readily form insoluble or sparingly soluble hydroxides or oxides in basic media, can be partially incorporated into zeolite framework and the incorporation extent depends on their electronic properties.
