Superhydrophobic Melamine-formaldehyde Foam Prepared by In-situ Coprecipitation
A superhydrophobic melamine-formaldehyde (MF) foam was prepared by a simple method, in which the hydrophobic SA@Fe3O4 (SA = stearic acid) micro-nanoparticles were fabricated on the surface of MF foam skeleton by in-situ coprecipitation. The modified MF foam showed outstanding superhydrophobic, oleophilic, and magnetic response due to its low surface energy, high porosity, and magnetic particles.
