Integrated 3D MoSe2@Ni0.85Se Nanowire Network with Synergistic Cooperation as Highly Efficient Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction in Alkaline Medium
The current study verifies that crystalized NiMoO4 nanowire array can be converted into integrated 3D MoSe2@Ni0.85Se nanowire network via hydrothermal approach. After selenization, the periphery of each nanowire frame is coated by multilayered and misaligned MoSe2 with a high density of active sites, and Ni0.85Se as conductive component is embedded inside each nanowire for facilitating fast electron transfer. Such 3D nanowire network with core/shell feature shows promising results for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline medium with 117 mV overpotential needed to reach the current density of 10 mA cm(-2) and superior long-term stability during 20 hours test.
