Chitosan Microsphere Preparation(II)
In this study, we examined about effectives of oil, glutaraldehyde, rotation rate, and surfactants to prepare chitosan microspheres containing norfloxacin for DDS. Its results were as follows. Increasing glutaraldehyde usage showed decreasing microspheres sizes and consolidation between microspheres. In the same condition, the range of microspheres sizes increased according to decreasing the ratio of W/O. Increasing surfactant usage showed decreasing microsphere sizes and consolidation between microspheres. According to increasing rotation rate, microsphere sizes decreased and before and after 200 rpm showed many changes. Its sizes in 200 rpm condition showed 400 - 100 μm, in 1000 rpm, 3 - 50 μm. These results show possibility prepared smaller microspheres by fit conditions of microsphere preparation than its present.
