Synthesis and Crystal Structure Characterization of (6R,7aS)-1,1-Diphenyl-6-(4-vinylbenzyloxy)tetrahydropyrrolo[1,2-c]oxazol -3(1H)-one
The title compound, (6R,7aS)-1,1-Diphenyl-6-(4-vinylbenzyloxy)tetrahydropyrrolo[1,2-c]oxazol -3(1H)-one, was synthesized and characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). Its molecular configuration was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure is devoid of any classical hydrogen bonding, and molecules are linked by weak CH center dot center dot center dot O contacts. In the 4-vinylbenzyloxy group, the three H atoms and one C atom are disordered over two sets of sites, with site occupancy factors of 0.75 and 0.25.
