Thermodynamic study of binary mixtures of tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2.6)]decane with N-methylpiperazine or triethylamine at T=298.15-323.15 K
Density and viscosity for binary mixtures of tricyclo[5.2.1.0(2.6)]decane with N-methylpiperazine (NMP) or triethylamine (TEA) have been measured at different temperatures of 298.15, 30315, 308.15, 313.15 and 323.15 K over the entire composition range. From these densities, all the experimental excess molar volumes, V-m(E), were calculated and fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation. The viscosities have also been correlated with several semi-empirical equations. The McAllister equation gives relatively satisfactory results for the correlation. (c) 2012 Elsevier B.V.
