Programs for positron lifetime analysis adjusted to the PC windows environment
New versions of two microcomputer programs LT and ETLT for positron lifetime spectra analysis are presented. The programs work in WINDOWS 95-20000/WINDOWS NT operating systems and use 32-bit arithmetic so the calculations are fast and easy in operating. The LT program allows a positron spectrum to be analyzed in terms of discrete components, as well as in terms of continuous sum of the decay curves given with a log-normal distribution. ETLT serves for analysis of spectra of polymers and other materials containing cavities in their structure. ETLT makes use of a model assuming slow positronium trapping into a cavity, which leads to a distribution of the ortho-positronium lifetimes and influences the shape of the lifetime spectrum.
