Hydrogen adsorption on activated carbons
Hydrogen adsorption on activated carbons are studied below atomospheric pressure. Adsorption isotherm was measured by volumetric analysis at 298 K and 77 K. The precursor of activated carbons are coconut shell, oak, and bituminous coal. In this work, the hydrogen adsorption capacity reached about 1.7 wt% at liquid nitrogen temperature and atomospheric pressure.
