Antioxidizing properties of an extract from Sosnowski hogweed seeds
Sosnowski hogweed seeds were extd. with AcOEt. The exts. were sepd. by column chromatog. on SiO(2) gel into fractions and subtractions analyzed by mass spectroscopy and tested for antioxidizing proprieties and the content of phenols (colorimetry). The high content of active antioxidants was supposed as a reason for resistance of the plant against external factors, and easy spreading.
