Application of a method for multivariant fitting the LBET models to analyze the effect of activation conditions on the microporous structure of activated carbons
A review, with 60 refs., of processes for prodn. of activated carbonaceous adsorbents by carbonization and activation of org. materials. New adsorption models with multivariant procedure for fitting the theoretical LBET models to the empirical data were used as a tool to analyze the microporous structure of carbonaceous adsorbents. The models were employed to evaluate the effect of the carbonization conditions (temp., time, gas How rate) on the porous structure of the adsorbents.
